                Les piquets en plastique recyclé importés par nous sont faits à partir de plastiques présélectionés et nettoyés  et provenant de l'industrie et de la collecte ménagère. Les piquets sont composés de 50% POLYETHYLENE et 50% autres plastiques techniques. Ils ne contiennent pas de PVC.


      PROPRIETES GENERALES


      - non polluant, inoffensif pour l'homme et l'environnement ;
      - par l'utilisation de ces piquets, nous pouvons contribuer au recyclage des plastiques ainsi qu'à la protection de l'environnement ;
      - les piquets ne pourrissent pas, sont résistants aux intempéries et à l'eau et sont élastiques ;
      - il n'y a pas de risques de blessures dues à des picots ou  des éclats ;
      - pendant l'usage dans les écuries ou sur les pâturages, il n'y a pas de risque de mastiquage par les animaux ;
      - facile à nettoyer ;
      - ils peuvent être peints facilement (par grande dilution) et sont bon marché ;
      - pas de vieillissement ;
      - ils peuvent être à nouveau recyclés ;
      - ils peuvent être percés et cloués.


      APPLICATIONS

      - enclos pour chevaux ;
      - clôtures pour les champs.

      CONSEILS POUR LA MISE EN OEUVRE

      En cas de construction de clôtures, nous proposons de planter les piquets section carrée ou circulaire de 10cm à une distance de 3 à 5 mètres par rapport à la mise en charge du côté.
      Il est conseillé de planter ces piquets à une profondeur de 20% par rapport à la hauteur de la clôture pour un sol normal et compact (c'est-à-dire pour un piquet de 2,70m, la profondeur devra être de 55 à 60cm). Cela garantit sans bourrage particulier une grande stabilité.
      S'il s'agit de terre meuble, la profondeur devra être de 30% minimum et la stabilité devra être confortée par des matières auxiliaires.
      Pour planter ces piquets, vous pouvez utiliser soit une perceuse avec adaptateur soit une perforatrice avec moteur à essence.
      Il faut que le trou soit plus petit que le diamètre du piquet.
      Selon la nature du sol, vous pouvez également utiliser un matériau intermédiaire (ex: bois) entre la colonne et le marteau.

      STOCKAGE

      - Ne pas stocker les piquets en position verticale.
      - Les stocker en position horizontale avec un soutènement convenable au-dessous des piquets.
      - La couche supérieure doit être toujours recouverte.
      - Les piquets peuvent stocker aussi bien à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur.

  • Lamps made from recycled plastic bottles that have a 700yr life expectancy

    • Washington, June 11 (ANI): A pair of artist-designer sisters has
      created art quality lighting fixtures from recycled plastic bottles,
      household plastic containers and recycled scrap metal.


      Reta and Vana Howell say that each of the fixtures they have created contains 30 to 55 plastic water bottles, depending on size and shape.


      They have revealed that they harden the plastic materials using call
      the THISs secret fusion process so as to give it the appearance of
      glass.


      According to them, except for the electrical parts of the fixtures, each of them has a life expectancy of 700 years.


      Each lamp come with a 13 watt CFL bulb, and has a cord for hard wiring.


      Reta and Vana recycle every part of the plastic bottles used in their designs, reports the Environmental News Network.


      They have revealed that, presently, there are five versions of the lights for sale, ranging from 325 to 425 dollars.


      A 100-dollar discount is being offered to those sending the sisters 72 recycled plastic bottles. (ANI)

  • Total ban on plastic bags in Himachal from Oct 2
    • Shimla, Aug 16 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh is set to impose a total ban
      on the use of plastic bags from Oct 2, state Environment Minister J.P.
      Nadda said Sunday.
      “From Oct 2, there would a complete ban on the production, storage,
      use, sale and distribution of all types of polythene bags made of
      non-biodegradable materials. But the ban will not include those bags
      used for packing food items like milk and cereals,” Nadda told IANS.

      The government is also planning to include all plastic materials
      like disposable plates, cups and glasses in the ambit of the ban, he
      said.


      The ban on use of coloured polythene bags manufactured from recycled
      plastic was initially imposed Jan 1, 1999. Later in 2004, the ban was
      imposed under Section 7(h) of the State Non-Biodegradable Garbage
      (Control) Rules on the use of small polythene bags having thickness
      less than 70 microns and size less than 18″x12″.


      “Now there is total ban on the use of polythene bags of all types and sizes,” Nadda added.


      Before the partial implementation of the ban in 2004, polythene
      pollution was a major problem in the state. During the monsoon, the
      rainwater brought along heaps of polythene bags and other
      non-biodegradable material that choked most of the municipal drains.


      Under the Himachal Pradesh Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act
      of 1995, any violator would face a fine up to Rs.25,000. The minimum
      fine has been fixed at Rs.500.


      R.K. Sood, joint member-secretary of the Himachal State Council for
      Science, Technology and Environment, said: “After imposing the ban in
      2004, plastic pollution has come down dramatically.”


      Nadda said the government is now exploring the option of promoting paper and jute bags in the state.


      “We are exploring the option of promoting paper and jute bags in a
      big way. Special sensitisation drives would be launched in the state to
      educate the common man about the ecological hazards and about which
      type of carry bags are environment-friendly. The tourists would be
      provided jute bags at various entry points in the state,” he said.


      The state would soon have its environmental master plan to tackle critical areas of environmental degradation.


      “The master plan will include a baseline study of the environmental
      vulnerabilities and details of measures to tackle problems mainly
      related to urban solid waste, industrial pollution and ecological
      degradation caused by hydropower projects,” the minister said.
